The Classical Series

The JSO flagship series sets out on another journey! For our 85th season we have prepared for a varied programme, full of surprises, magic and beauty, of exciting musical experiences.

Among our concerts: An opening concert featuring Symphonie Fantastique by Berlioz alongside an Homage à Mark Kopytman, a concert featuring Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliette, Symphonic Dances from Bernstein’s West Side Story and Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle,  two concerts featuring wonderful works by Shostakovich and Prokofiev (one of which is with renowned cellist Mischa Maisky and conductor Eliahu Inbal), Orff’s Carmina Burana; an evening featuring works by Ravel, Berlioz and Bizet with Maestro Yves Abel and mezzo soprano Rachel Frenkel, a season finale concert with conductor Catherine Larsen-Maguire and pianist Alon Goldstein, and much more.

Terms of Purchase

  • Last season’s seats will be held for renewing subscribers until June 10th, 2023
  • Seats will not be reserved for subscribers to the Family Concert Series
  • New subscribers will be allocated seats after July 10th, 2023, on a first-come, first-served basis
  • The program of the Highlights Series is fixed and the concerts are non exchangeable
  • Tickets for the Pupils and Young People (up to 30)/Student Subscriptions are subject to availability
