Head of the percussion section at the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, IBA. During her military service also went to college, and holds a certificate music teaching diploma, a B.A in Music from the Oklahoma City University, US.

Askayo is also an active player at the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, The Haifa Orchestra, The Rishon Lezion Orchestra as well a taking part in Contemporary Music ensemble such as Musica Nova and The 21st Century Ensemble.
While working at the orchestras, also teaches percussion in the conservatories of Yahud, Qiryat Ono, Lod and Ra’anana, and teaches percussion at the ‘Head’ Music School, conducting  music workshops and ‘Musical Youth’ camps.
