Tenor Jörg Dürmüller was born in Germany. His operatic repertoire includes Tamino in The Magic Flute, Belamonte in The Abduction from the Seraglio, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Don Ramiro in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Bajazete in Handel’s Tamerlano, Erik in The Flying Dutchman (Wagner) among others.
His concert repertoire includes the evangelist in Bach’s Passions and Handel’s Messiah.

He frequently performs in the opera houses of Hamburg, Vienna, Berlin, Leipzig, Cologne, Strasbourg, Madrid, Turin and others, and also performs at the prominent concert halls of London, Madrid, Vienna, Rome, São Paulo and others.
