The beloved operetta “Die Fledermaus” (”The Bat”) by Johann Strauss receives a fresh and lavish realization in the nimble hand of Stage Director Rosemarie Danziger and the idiom-sure baton of Maestro David Aronson. The extravagant star-studded show brings together excellent operatic singing, brilliant comic acting, classical ballet, spectacular silhouette-show and many surprises! The authentic Viennese spirit, the beautiful flowing tunes sung by young stars alongside world-famous stars, reaches its climax at Prince Orlofsky’s ball.
The prince treats his guests generously to a Champaign fountain flowing in abundance, gaming tables, dance, and fun. Amid all of this light spirited intoxication, Orlofsky offers his guests the finest entertainment: the Grand pas de deux from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” danced by world-class award-winning dancers.
.
With all that opulence, the story remains a story of sly pranks, false identities, and infidelity which never happened. But in operetta as in operetta there is always a happy end and Moral wins!
.
You are invited to take part in the feast. Feel free to be spellbound and swept off your feet!
.
The Operetta will be sung in the original German and the dialogs will be spoken in English. There will be Hebrew and Russian titles.
