JSO Celebrates Israel’s 75th Anniversary

Including a Festive Independence Concert with the JAMD Chamber Choir and The Gary Bertini Israeli Choir, featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Choral, and Michael Wolpe’s Fantasy for Orchestra; The Twelve Tribes, an original work by Benjamin Yusupov, telling the tale of the tribes of Israel and their unique music, conducted by the composer in a concert featuring also Dvořák’s Cello Concerto (soloist: Arseniy Chubachin); and a special programme, directed and narrated by Dr. Astrith Baltsan, which traces the history of Israel’s national anthem, Hatikva.

  • Last season’s seats will be held for renewing subscribers until June 10th, 2023
  • Seats will not be reserved for subscribers to the Family Concert Series
  • New subscribers will be allocated seats after July 10th, 2023, on a first-come, first-served basis
  • The program of the Highlights Series is fixed and the concerts are non exchangeable
  • Tickets for the Pupils and Young People (up to 30)/Student Subscriptions are subject to availability
