The Phantom of the Opera on Evita: A Tribute to the Great Musicals

There is no need to fly to London to hear those wonderful musicals when we have Daniella Lugassy and Adam Lahav, the best singers around, performing rich original orchestrations with the JSO and Gil Shohat. In this special concert we will be performing popular songs from the greatest musicals: Evita, Cats, West Side Story, Man of La ManchaHair and My Fair Lady. At the center of the concert – The Phantom of the Opera, a masterpiece by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the most important Musicals composer of the twentieth century, and the pinnacle of his works. Ground-breaking popular singer Daniella Lugassy, international singer Adam Lahav and prize-winner composer, conductor and pianist Gil Shohat – all join forces to a heart-piercing performance for anyone who gets emotional from the beautiful melodies of these masterpieces. In addition, Maestro Shohat and the JSO will perform Ravel‘s La Valse, and the very Hollywood-like movement from The Planets by Holst.
