Dear audience,

Pianist Anna Tsybuleva, who was scheduled to perform at our 88th Season Opening Concert arrived in Israel but unfortunately fell ill, preventing her from rehearsing or performing with the JSO. In short notice we were able to invite pianist Alexei Melnikov, bronze medalist at The XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition for the concert.

The concert’s programme has also changed subsequently and will feature Rachmaninoff‘s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 -under the baton of Maestro Julian Rachlin.

The concert will also be performed at the Henry Crown Hall, Jerusalem Theater (12.10 at 19:30) – for tickets.
