The Magic Drum

A musical play for children, conducted by Sivan Albo Ben-Hur and with marimba and percussion artist Noya Schlein, about a drum who likes to do magic – which sometimes goes a bit pear-shaped, which results in funny situations.

A drum actually does not want to be a drum. He would rather disguise itself as other musical instruments, such as a trumpet, a flute or a violin. But along the way he discovers his uniqueness and realizes that the best thing, for everyone, is to be themselves.

With excerpts from famous works, such as Tchaikovsky‘s Nutcracker, Scheherazade by Rimski-KorsakovBizet‘s CarmenBerlioz‘ Symphonie Fantastique, and more, and with well-known children’s songs.
