Alla Vasilevitsky
Alla Vasilevitsky, soprano, was born in Russia and immigrated to Israel. During her studies she won several awards and performed in numerous concerts in recitals in Russia as well as in Germany, Italy, France and Japan. She participates at the IVAI program where she performed Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) and Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart). She received the Industrial-Commercial Club, Baser, Grabov and Eli Leon scholarships. Alla Vasilevitsky was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Opera Studio where her repertoire included Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Adina in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti) and the title role in The Snow Maiden (Rimsky-Korsakov). She performed Servilia in La clemenza di Tito (Mozart) with the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra. She performed Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) in the Opera Studio production with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, IBA, as well as with the Israel Sinfonietta Beersheva, and also Musetta in La bohème (Puccini). With the Israeli Opera she performed Leïla in Les pêcheurs de perles (Bizet), Musetta in La bohème, Lisette in La rondine (Puccini), Prilepa in Pique Dame (Tchaikovsky), Countess Rosina Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Convict in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Shostakovich), several roles in Alice in Wonderland (David Sebba), Yano in Jenufa (Janáček), Xenia in Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky) and others.
