Can Music Tell a Story?

The first concert of the ‘Musical Adventures and Discoveries’ series, conducted and musically directed by Maestro Leon Botstein will deal with a question that has occupied composers and musicians since the 19th century – if notes are not words, how can music tell a story just with sounds?

Maestro Botstein and soloists Itamar Ringel (viola) and Talia Erdal (cello) will be performing Schumann‘s Manfred Overture, Elgar‘s Enigma Variations and R. StraussDon Quixote.
