\nProf. Farhad Badalbayli is a pianist and composer, People\u2019s Artist of Azerbaijan (1978) and People\u2019s Artist of USSR (1990), Professor (1983),<\/p>\n

Laureate of Azerbaijan State Award (1985), Order of Honor of Azerbaijan (1997),\u00a0Order of Chevalier of Literature and Art of France (2000), \u201cStar of Commonwealth\u201d Order (2015) and Order of \u201cIstiglal\u201dAzerbaijan (2017).<\/p>\n

Rector of Baku Music Academy since 1991 till present.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Between 1965-1969 Badalbayli studied at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (class of M.R. Brenner).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In 1969-1971 Farhad Badalbayli passed his post graduate stage at Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (class of B.Davidovich).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Farhad Badalbayli is the winner of many international competitions such as famous piano competition named after B.Smetana in Czechoslovakia (1967) and Vianna Da Motta in Portugal (1968).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Farhad Badalbayli is involved into an active and successful concert live.<\/p>\n

The concert tours of the pianist surround such countries as Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Italy, France, Greece, Norway, Portugal, Tunis, Finland,\u00a0 Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Sweden, USA, Cuba, South Korea, Japan and other countries.<\/p>\n

He has performed with such orchestras as “Moscow Virtuosi”, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra, Jerusalim\u00a0 Symphony Orchestra<\/p>\n

Since 1971 Farhad Badalbayli is occupied with the teaching activity at Azerbaijan State Conservatory, and it was actually\u00a0Farhad Badalbayli\u2019s initiative to change the name of Azerbaijan State Conservatory to Baku Music Academy (1994).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Farhad Badalbayli is the first deputy of Azerbaijan Music Society Chamber (1986-1989),\u00a0head of Baku Art Center (1987-1996) and is the founder of Azerbaijan Musical Benefactors Centre.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since 1995 Farhad Badalbayli is the member of Azerbaijan Culture Friends foundation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
