He has built an extensive international career as both a conductor and cellist, performing at major venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall and La Scala. As a conductor, he has worked with leading orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National d\u2019\u00cele-de-France, the Israel Symphony Orchestra and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. From 2000 to 2004, he served as Principal Guest Conductor of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As a cellist, Yablonsky has performed around the world at venues including Carnegie Hall, La Scala, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the St. Petersburg Philharmonia. He is also an active chamber musician and has collaborated with artists including Yuri Bashmet, Vadim Repin, Boris Berezovsky, Leif Ove Andsnes, Shlomo Mintz and Montserrat Caball\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>His recording career includes more than 80 albums, more than 60 of them recorded for the Naxos label. Among his notable recordings is an Erato recording with Vadim Repin and Boris Berezovsky of string trios by Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich. In 2008, Yablonsky conducted a recording of Mikl\u00f3s R\u00f3zsa\u2019s Violin Concerto that received a Grammy Award nomination.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Alongside his work as a performer and conductor, Yablonsky has initiated and organized international music festivals. He serves as Artistic Director of the Gabala Music Festival in Azerbaijan and founded the Puigcerda Music Festival in the Pyrenees, in the border region between France and Spain. In 2014, he was appointed Music Director of the Kyiv Virtuosi.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yablonsky is a member of the teaching faculty of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yablonsky\u2019s relationship with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra spans many years. He has conducted the orchestra in Israel and on international tours, including in the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Japan.
