Chamber Music series

.
Intimate Concerts Performed by Members of the JSO.
.
Chamber music is music that is written for a limited number of instruments. It is intended for intimate performance settings. One can hear what each instrument is playing and follow the nuanced relationships that are formed between the players and between the various parts. An evening of chamber music is like a satisfying, deep conversation.
.
.
This year we begin a new series of five chamber concerts, which will be performed by members of the orchestra at different locations throughout the city. Each location, each concert, has its own character and therefore offers a slightly different conversational perspective, as well as an opportunity to get to know the orchestra players more closely. Join us for a series of close listening experiences, imbued with a sense of connectedness and full of curiosity and attentiveness.
