Zlata Khershberg

Zlata Khershberg was born in Russia, and lives in Israel. A graduate of the Balakirev Academy at Nizhny Nogorod, and the Buchmann-Mehta Music Academy at the Tel Aviv University, her Opera repertoire includes Olga on Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Marcellina on La nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Orlovsky on Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), the witch on Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), and others. Zlata Khershberg’s concert repertoire includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody,  El Amor Brujo (De Falla), Les Noces (Stravinsky) and others. She performs on a variety of concerts in Israel.

Zlata Khershberg is a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio, where her repertoire includes the third lady on Die Zauberflöte, Marcellina on La nozze di Figaro (Mozart) and the mother on Hänsel Und Gretel  (Humperdinck).
