The Cantorial Series (2012-13)
Cantorial music was an essential part of the musical landscape from the first day of broadcast. In fact, cantor Chaim Vittorio Weinberg was the first singer heard on the radio on the historic inauguration day in 1936. This Season we will dedicate four concerts to fully orchestrated Jewish liturgical and to cantorial music, starring the leading cantors of our time.
With Dudu Fisher, Israel Rand, Benzion Miller, Yaakov Motzen, Azi Schwartz and more.
