Born in Israel in 1990, Doron accomplished her B.Mus. degree from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv University. She is a recipient of many excellence scholarships from institutes and organizations such as The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, the America-Israeli Cultural Foundation, the Ronen Foundation, Eli Leon Foundation and the International Summer Opera

workshop in Tel Aviv and New York.

She was the First Prize winner of the Buchmann-Mehta School’s annual Vocal Competition and a Third Prize winner of the school’s annual Contemporary Music Competition. In 2018 took part in the “Aviv” competitions in Israel and won the Audience Choice award as well as an additional Special Achievements award from the competition’s management. She sang under the baton of distinguished conductors, including Zubin Mehta, Daniel Oren, Allen

Gilbert, Pedro halffter, Nikolaj Znaider, Peter Tilling and more.

In the 2016-2017 season Doron was a member of the Meitar Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera, where she performed various roles both on the main stage and in chamber productions, including Kate in Madama Butterfly and Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica (Puccini), Baba in The Medium (Menotti) and Geneviève in Pelléas et Mélisande (Debussy). In October 2016 portrayed

Maddalena in Rigoletto (Verdi) in a production with the Opera in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Doron is currently a member the Semperoper Dresden Young Ensemble. In the 2017-2018 season she performed roles such as Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart) and Giovanna in Rigoletto (Verdi), as well as Fortunata in Satyricon (Maderna) – a role she performed also as part of the Salzburg Festspiele and in Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in Modena.

In the current season (2018-2019) she will debut in several roles on the stage of the Semperoper, including Cornelia in Giulio Cesare in Egitto (Handel), Brigitta in Die Tote Stadt (Korngold), Mary in Der Fliegende Holländer (Wagner) and Hata in Die Verkaufte Braut (Smetana) and more.

Doron has previously performed with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra in a world première of Golden Hour (Ari Ben-Shabtai, written in memory of Itzhak Rabin). This is her second performance with the JSO and her first time performing this song cycle by Mahler.
