Tenor Jörg Dürmüller was born in Germany. His operatic repertoire includes Tamino in The Magic Flute, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Ferrando in Così fan Tutte and Belamonte in Il Seraglio by Mozart, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola by Rossini, Bajazete in Tamerlano by Handel and Erik in The Flying Dutchman by Wagner.
Dürmüller’s concert repertoire includes the evangelist in Bach Passions and Handel’s Messiah. He regularly performs in Opera houses throughout Europe – Hamburg, Vienna, Berlin, Leipzig, Cologne, Strasbourg, Madrid, Turin and others, as well as the most important concerts halls in London, Madrid, Vienna, Rome, São Paulo and more.
This is Dürmüller’s first performance with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and The Israeli Opera.
