Dikla Baniel’s works are frequently performed by leading chamber orchestras, ensembles, orchestras and choirs.

Baniel is invited to create multimedia performances for adults, combining music with the performing arts, as well as performances for children, performed by Israel’s leading ensembles, on a regular basis.

Between 2002-2010 she was the director of The Contemporary Quartet with whom she had received awards in Israel and abroad.
From 2013 Baniel is creating multimedia concerts for children, combining arts for musical ensembles such as The Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble, The Israel Metal Quintet, Trio Appassionata and others.
From 2013 Baniel is the conductor of Shlomo Gronich’s ‘Sheba’ Choir, which consists of immigrant girls from Ethiopia, and together they perform on Israel’s most prestigious stages.

Notable works by Dikla Baniel include: ‘Queen of the Night’ – an Opera for children combining video-art, ‘Different Trains’ – a multimedia performance performed by The Contemporary Quartet, ‘Flat for Rent’ – a theatrical concert performed by the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble, ‘And this Kid is Me’, with author Yehuda Atlas and The Moran Choir, ‘Hour of the Gypsies’ – a concert-dance work performed by Trio Appassionata and more.

Alongside her artistic activities Baniel is also working for many years to help develop creativity and empowerment of both children and adults of the autistic spectrum.

Baniel’s teachers include composers Arik Shapira recipient  of the Israel Prize , Prof. Ari Ben-Shabtai and conductor Mendi Rodan.
