A special tribute concert for composers whose life are linked to the early days of the Tel Aviv Academy for Music: Eden Partush, as the Academy’s founder, Yehezkel Braun, its director, Shimon Cohen, as a teacher, Zvi Avni, one of its first graduates, and violinist Yair Kless, the academy’s director in the 1990’s.
Among the works to be performed:
Avni’s work, commissioned by the JSO, IBA, which will open his 90th birthday celebrations and an exciting premiere of Yehezkel Braun‘s Golden Peacock, arranged for choir and orchestra under the composer’s request, by Ilan Mochiach.
