Nabucco at the Sultan


Verdi’s “Jewish” opera showcases King Nebuchadnezzar who destroys the temple in Jerusalem and exiles the Israelites to Babylon where they sing the immortal slave chorus.

Nabucco returns after more than 2,500 years of exile to Jerusalem for a single performance at the Sultan’s Pool set against the ancient city walls background.
